Costa Toulantas, born and raised in Boston, MA, USA on October 23rd 1974, is a singer/songwriter and lyricist that now lives on the South Aegean island of Kos in Greece. At the age of 10, Costa’s family moved to Kos where he resided until his high school graduation. He then attended the Deree American College in Athens, Greece for 3 years, and later moved to London to study English Literature at North London University. After earning his BA Honours degree, he moved back to Boston in the fall of 2000 to pursue a career in music. There, he formed the pop/rock band 'Stringtheory', as it’s lead singer/guitarist and principle songwriter, which became a staple of the Boston music scene. In 2004 Stringtheory entered the New York International Music Festival where they were voted best pop/rock band. Stringtheory released their debut album “Spin” shortly after and carried on playing regularly around Massachussetts and New York building a strong following. Their album garnered positive reviews and airplay from Boston Radio Stations. The band disbanded during the recording of their second album and in late 2007 Toulantas moved to Athens, Greece. In 2009 he was signed by label Pan Vox, Legend and released the album Sparks with newly formed band 'Ekofields'. Living in Kos, he has formed the band Rabbit On The Roof, which is about to release their debut album.
