Έντονη απογοήτευση προκαλεί η εικόνα που παρουσιάζουν τα Θερμά της Κω, με το Kosnews24 να λαμβάνει συνεχώς μηνύματα από κατοίκους και επισκέπτες του νησιού σχετικά με την κατάσταση που επικρατεί στην περιοχή.
Αυτή τη φορά, επιστολή απέστειλε στην εφημερίδα μας Γερμανός τουρίστας, ο οποίος επισκέπτεται συχνά την Κω και δηλώνει λάτρης του νησιού, της φιλοξενίας, της φύσης και της ιστορίας του τόπου.
Όπως αναφέρει, τα Θερμά αποτελούν για τον ίδιο ένα από τα σημαντικότερα σημεία της Κω, ωστόσο, κατά την πρόσφατη επίσκεψή του διαπίστωσε πως ο λάκκος στα Θερμά έχει υποστεί σοβαρές ζημιές από τα κύματα, ενώ, όπως περιγράφει, κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες προσπαθούσαν μόνοι τους με φτυάρια να διαμορφώσουν ξανά τον χώρο.

Η ΕΠΙΣΤΟΛΗ
My name is F. M., I´m from Germany and I visit frequently the island of Kos. In the last two years I was four times there. Yesterday I returned from my first visit this year.
I love the island, the nature, the people, the hospitality, the food, the drinks etc.
I also visit the Therma for health reasons very often during my stays. I always go there in the early morning to avoid the crowd and to have a chance to meet Greek people there.
This natural Therma is not just a highlight of my visits, it is one of the real Kos highlights. And I see this also in connection with the great history of the island in connection with Hippocrates.
On the other hand, if I come as a tourist, I have to pay a lot of money as a tax for my stays, this time 10,- € per night.
This time I was really not happy to see the conditions of the Therma. The waves had destroyed it almost completely! Therefore we were waiting for a caterpillar to push some rocks and to dig somekind of basin, as in the past couple of years. At least until the 15th of May in the morning nothing like this happened.
The way down was a little paved, nothing more.
Some Greek people were trying it with a shovel per hand. I did it also. But the result was not good enough, heavy technical means were needed.
Therefore I kindly ask you to look into this matter, which is in the interest of people from Greece and abroad!
Here, for example, the money which we as tourists bring to Kos, could be invested!
And to avoid misunderstanings, I do not recommend to built another touristic hotspot there! It should stay as much natural as possible, but usable!
